BALI PLUS Magazine February 2017
As we come into the month of February, many of us are breathing sighs of relief that high season is finally over and we are now entering the year’s more relaxed and comfortable second month where Bali is less congested, prices are now back to normal and the weather is turning great again. February is one of our favourite months not only because of Valentine’s Day but because of its laid-back, easygoing, relaxed vibe. Going outdoors in February is fantastic too; it’s all blue skies and sunshine but without the intense heat or the endless pouring rains. Bear in mind that it may still rain, of course, but at more sporadic intervals than in previous months. Speaking of Valentine’s Day (Love Yourself Day, Friendship Day or Singles Day) we’ve got great deals for you. We’ve trawled the island to bring you the best Valentine’s Day deals and packages so you and your loved one can celebrate love like never before.
Check out our Hot Deals section and What’s New page for great deals as well as the latest and greatest that the island has to offer. While you’re at it, Don’t Miss has all the events, exhibitions and traditional Balinese ceremonies happening around the island this month and for party-goers, take a look at our Party Agenda pages before checking out all the winners this month in Bali Best Awards. As usual, our Reviews are personal recommendations, ones that we’ve tried and tested to ensure that you get only the best out of your time here in Bali. This month, we would like to highlight the tantalizing delicacies that you can find at The Laneway restaurant, Seminyak’s coveted dining outlet located within the beautifully hidden Peppers Seminyak 5-star villa resort. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, we promise you’ll leave the table satisfied and yearning for more! Those looking for killer ribs and twisted martinis, where else but at Naughty Nuri’s Seminyak? Happy Chappy Chinese Restaurant wants you to try their live seafood selection and Kopi Pot, located in Legian Street is perfect for local and international cuisines with customers returning again and again since 1990. Connoisseurs and art lovers would be happy to know that MÉTIS Restaurant, Lounge & Gallery has just released their new lunch menu and Mano Seaside’s Italian Head Chef has some culinary secrets up his sleeves too.
While you’re in Bali, do try something new with a helicopter ride over the island, thanks to Bali Adventure Sky Tours. Then relax in your luxurious and private 1-bedroom villa at Bali Island Villa before heading North West to the newly opened Menjangan Dynasty Resort. When it’s time to fly, enjoy luxury and comfort like never before with the award-winning Qatar Airways; the airline flies to hundreds of destinations worldwide from Bali! Want to connect with us?
